Tyre replacement cost Calculator

Build a tyre replacement allowance from set cost and expected life. This free tyre replacement cost calculator shows the calculation and its assumptions so you can compare your own figures.

How the tyre replacement cost calculation works

Set cost = count × fitted tyre price. Cost/km = set cost ÷ expected life; annual allowance multiplies by annual distance.

Expected life depends on driving, alignment and tyre condition. A financial allowance does not determine safe replacement timing.

Using this calculator

  1. Enter your own figures in the labelled inputs. Keep the currencies, units and time periods consistent.
  2. Choose any applicable rate profile, pattern or assumption shown for this tool. Open additional inputs when relevant.
  3. Review annual replacement allowance and cost per1000 km, then read the stated assumptions and eligibility conditions before using the result.
