Who operates this site

K Imports operates Count.ie. For privacy questions and rights requests, contact s@s1.ie.

Your calculator inputs

Calculations run locally in your browser. Count.ie does not upload, store or share the figures you enter. Inputs reset when you leave or reload a tool. There is no account or payment form in this version.

Analytics

Count.ie uses an analytics service to understand site traffic and usage. Analytics may process information about page visits and technical information associated with web requests. The analytics provider and its configuration determine what information is collected, whether cookies or similar identifiers are used, and how long information is retained. Count.ie’s calculator code does not send the figures you enter to analytics.

Browser preferences and saved tools

Favourites and recently used tools stay in memory unless you turn on “Remember tools”. With your permission, Count.ie stores tool identifiers under countie.tools.v2 and your choice under countie.remember in this browser’s local storage. No calculator figures are included. These entries remain until you turn remembering off, use “Forget saved tools”, or clear your browser storage.

When you choose light or dark mode, countie.theme remembers that requested preference. Your browser may prevent local storage; the tools still work. To return to the system theme and remove this preference, clear this site’s browser storage.

Site delivery and security

The hosting provider receives ordinary web requests, which can include your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Such processing supports delivery, security and fault investigation. The operator relies on legitimate interests in providing a secure service where that basis applies. Hosting logs and retention depend on the deployed host’s settings and policy. For a Replit deployment, see Replit’s privacy policy. External links contact their respective providers only when you follow them.

Advertising and third-party cookies

Advertising is disabled on this installation. No AdSense advertising script is loaded. When enabled, Google AdSense and the advertising partners identified in the consent message may collect and use IP addresses, browser or device information, cookie identifiers, page visits and advertising interactions. Cookies, local storage, web beacons and similar identifiers can be used to deliver, measure and personalise advertising based on visits to this and other websites.

The publisher must configure a Google-certified consent message before enabling advertising. AdSense is loaded only after the required consent signal. The consent message identifies vendors, purposes, retention and relevant policy links. You can refuse optional advertising and withdraw your consent through “Advertising preferences” below; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. Count.ie does not send calculator inputs to advertisers.

Read how Google uses advertising information and Google’s privacy policy. You can also manage personalised advertising through Google My Ad Center or Your Online Choices. These external choices do not replace this site’s consent controls.

Recipients, retention and international transfers

Hosting providers receive request information. Analytics providers process usage information as described above. Enabled advertising providers receive the data described in their consent and privacy notices. Those providers may process data outside the EEA using the safeguards described in their policies. Count.ie has no database of calculator inputs to retain or transfer. Saved tool identifiers remain solely in your browser. Analytics retention and transfers depend on the provider and its configuration. Consent records and advertising retention are explained by the configured consent provider and vendor notices.

Contact correspondence

If you email the operator, your address, message and any information you include are used to answer and resolve your enquiry. This relies on legitimate interests in responding to correspondence, or on legal obligations for applicable rights requests. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed for that purpose and any applicable legal obligations. Avoid sending PPS numbers, bank details or sensitive financial records.

Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time. Browser-only tool preferences can be deleted below. To exercise other rights, contact the operator identified above. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Changes

This notice must be updated if analytics arrangements change or the operator adds accounts, new advertising providers or other processing. The date above identifies this version.

Your preferences

Turning this off removes saved tools from this browser. Advertising choices, when advertising is enabled, are managed through the certified consent message.
